Joshua was a very colorful and interesting person. I asked him about his weekend and he told me the eventful story of their move as he stood against the green wall of the design department. I kept taking snapshots as he moved about and moved his body and arms to capture the dynamism of his story and his personality.

The typography design went through a few generations of experiments before it landed on Adobe Illustrator grid lines. I had originally planned to show an electrical grid. So first I bought yellow coated wire to also reminisce his blonde curly hair. The application of that idea was not quite successful. Next, I sewed the type onto a black foam board using thin wire and tac. Then I transferred the hand sketches to Illustrator for a more calculated and measured application using the grid system, the pen tool, and the width tool.
