​​​​​​​2014 Viewer's Choice for USC Shoah Center Student Voices Contest.
The film showcases a snapshot from the escape of a Jewish family from Hungary
during the Holocaust and the heroic acts of Naomi Alcalay to save her father's life.

In teaching Basic 2D Design, I found that students from cross-university
fields of study relished the agency in working together as they combined their
knowledge of design principles with research about a society issue of their choice.
This was an effective way to create conversation between the students.

The UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture’s Visual and Performing
Arts Education Program (VAPAE) fosters the creative and intellectual growth of
UCLA Arts students while providing much needed arts education curricula
to children in underserved communities. A key tenant of the VAPAE program is
to offer students experiential opportunities to develop into qualified
teaching artists and introduces them to a range of possible careers in the arts.
